"Why We Exist"

We found our beginnings at the then 35th Avenue AOH Church of God (Which we know today as Bethesda AOH)

Small in numbers but big in Love we were family in every sense of the word!! Thriving with a Junior Church for the children working together building the kingdom of God!

August 25, 2002 is a day we will never forget! A day of great pain, and much turmoil but in the midst joy was on the horizon! A seed was planted! God had a plan, a plan to prosper us a plan to position us for His purpose! Following that fateful day arms of love was extended and opened to us. We were comforted and nourished  at the then Purity Holiness Church which is known today as The Way of Salvation. Bishop Willie Sanders, Sr. pastor& church family.

1 Corinthians 15:36 in essence says … What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.

With that in view our next stop was Pooles Funeral Home!!

And then from the shadow of death that seed having died, begin to grow! 

The name New Beginning Christian Church was given by revelation of God!

The seed having burst forth through the ground, as a tender plant we knew it was time to move! From the funeral home we took a leap of faith to the then Airport Inn, a hotel sitting by the airport which is known as the Ramada Inn.

 Two months and 6 days later October 31, 2002  we signed the paperwork for our new home God provided  

953 Parrish Lane, Trussville, AL. Our Church was Dedicated on January 5, 2003

New Beginning Christian Church.

 A place where you can begin again, in Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthian 5:17

 A permanent home we thought. But in reality just a resting place, a place of refreshing, a place of purging!

 God gave our pastor a vision of land a promise land we would possess!  

We went into the land praising and worshipping God through tent revival! Bishop told us God said if we marched around the building 7 times He would give it to us! On the last night of the revival a man of God stopped by and asked if he could have words. He confirmed what Bishop said If we walk around the building 7 times God would give it to us!  And on August 15, 2006 the vision was accomplished as we moved into this building.

A new location, a new name a greater anointing, a greater work!

Our mission is to reach out to a lost and dying world; bringing souls to Jesus through love, acceptance and forgiveness. Teaching Christians who they are in Christ Jesus; bringing them from milk to meat, teaching them to live a victorious life of Holiness and sanctification. This mission will be accomplished when in return believers become equipped in God’s Word to reach out to others and offer to teach the same!

In the year 2020 our beloved founder and pastor Bishop TL Jones Sr took his rest. God called him home.

This same year Bishop’s eldest son, Elder Tommy Jones Jr took the office of pastorate of our church.

Upon stepping into the office of pastor, Pastor T began a renovation project, a vision given by God and well known by Bishop Jones Sr, before his transition.

The sanctuary was stripped and rebuilt as you see it today.
